My weeeeekend!

This weekend I am going to the Christmas dance on Friday, before the dance I am hanging out with Marissa at her house. On Saturday I am going to watch my brother Andrew play hockey in Virden against Boissivian . On Sunday I am watching my brother play hockey again but against Souris in Souris! I hope he wins both games because so far we are in first place in our league.

2. There is a new student in class and you are given an assignment. You are required to spend 10 minutes giving him/her advice about surviving at Virden Junior High. What would you say?

There is a new student named Karissa Gerard coming to our school. I have to spend 10 minutes with her telling her stuff about Virden Junior High and how it is a great school!

I would tell her that we have a lot of school activities during winter and summer. In winter time we go outside and do tubing races and a lot of things that are fun!

Another important thing we do at the school in the winter time is gym blast it is very fun! Gym blast is when the whole school is split into 4 groups. These people come from Brandon and do activities with us for the whole afternoon.

Another fun event in the winter time is the Ski Trip to Asessippi for one day we leave the school at around 6 am in the morning and get back around 8 pm at night. If you are in grade 8 you get to stay at the Russel Inn in Russel for one night. The next morning we get up and go again! It is going to be fun! Also if you are in grade 8 we have a 30 hour famine where you can't eat for one day, and you get to stay over night at the school playing hide-go-seek around the whole school and take pictures and have fun!

Another interesting thing that we do is the magazine campaign it is ever year around November, October area. It is where you go around selling magazines. And the top selling classroom from upstairs and downstarirs go on a trip to Brandon to go swimming and bowling for one day!

Another exciting thing that happens right before Christmas Break is the lip sync competion. Anybody can go in it, it is up to you. If your class wins the lip sync you get a free pizza party! For example we did thunderstruck last year, and we won, it was a good time!

Last but not least this school is a great place for respect, use of time wisely, learn each time you can, express and expand your mind! My opinion of this school is GREAT! I hope you enjoy your time at this school just as much as I am in my last year!

Christmas Break.

I am excited for Christmas Break it is only a week away! Christmas is the best time of year because I get a lot of stuff! For Christmas I want a cell phone, bench clothes, Uggs, clothes and a snowboard. For Christmas we are going to my Grandma's house on Christmas eve and on Christmas Day we are staying at my house then going out for supper!

The snowboard on the left with baby blue and pink on it is the one it want! I hope i get it for Christmas!

Report Card .

I think my report card was pretty good because there were a lot of ones and a lot of twos. But i still need to do some work because there are some three's in math so i think i need to do a little more better in my math! But other than that i think my report card was pretty good!

Divisional Volleyball

Today we went to Reston for our divisional volleyball tourney. We had a pretty good day, in our round robin our team won a couple of games, but when we had to play Elkhorn to move on we put up a good battle with them but we lost in the end. But we did bring home the trophie, hopefully they can bring it home next year!

My Inanimate Animal!

My Inanimate animal that I'm going to bring back to life is my dad's glasses.

Me: So, glasses tell me what my dad saw through them when he wore them?
Glasses: Let me tell you , are you ready?
Me: Well I'm ready when your ready!
Glasses: Well your dad saw a lot of different things, and old things.
Me: Like what do you mean?
Glasses: Well i mean like different farming tools,different clothes, different ways of getting around and a lot more.
Me: So like really older stuff?
Glasses: Yes very older stuff because they didn't have any computers or combines they had to do it by hand.
Me: Well that must of been really hard work?
Glasses: Yes it was.
Me: Well I'm glad I brought you back to life you told me a few interesting things!
Glasses: I'm glad you brought me back to live to!

The Animal I Resemble!

The animal I resemble is a Lion. Why I resemble a Lion is because I am very loud normally cause that is just how I am. Also I am fearless im not scared of anything really, and I am also very eager to do stuff I have to do it right now I just cant wait. Lions run pretty fast and when I want to do run i will run pretty fast like a lion. Also lions associate with other animals and I associate with other people to. Lastly they hear pretty good, and I hear pretty good to. That is all the reasons why i resemble a Lion!

My Top 10 Favourite Hobbies

Hobbies :

Dance - I learn how to dance with different songs and then perform them at the aud

Volleyball- It is very athletic and enjoyable also you get to around the province and play tournaments


Soccer- I like to play it in the spring and I am kinda good at it

Friends- To hang out and party and maybe have some sleepovers


Curling- It is very enjoyable , it is not a very competitive game and that is what I like and every time you play you learn something new

Dirt biking- I like to go in the mud and ride around and get all muddy

Quading- It is fun because you just get to for an enjoyable ride where ever you want to go for a ride

Shopping- It is fun and you get to spend money and buy cool stuff


Baseball- It is fun to hit the ball around and run some bases , I like when I get a home run!

Ski-dooing- It is fun in the winter time because you can go tobogganing and I love tobogganing in the winter time!

My Low light of September!

My lowlight of September was having alot of science quizes in science and also having fitness run for the month of September , I didn't do to well on that!

My High Light of September!

My highlight of September is our cereal box, why because i thought it was pretty cool making our own cereal box. Me and Marissa's cereal box was called Morning Burst , our character was named Sunny , we placed 4th out of our class room. That was my high light was September.
